Emergency Social Services

Our Facilitators

Our facilitators Arlene Baxendale, Donelda Laing, and Scott Cameron have a combined experience of over 65 years in Emergency Social Services and emergency management. The team has been involved in some of the largest disasters in Canadian history including the Pine Lake Tornado (2000), Slave Lake wildfires (2011), Southern Alberta Floods (2013), Fort McMurray Wildfires (2016), and more recently, the High Level Wildfire (2019). As founding members of the Emergency Social Services Network of Alberta (ESSNA), their knowledge and experience helping communities across Canada will bring unparalleled learnings to your organization.
