Career Highlights

For nearly two decades, Trevor has served as Executive Director of the Alberta Playwrights’ Network, where he has played a central role in supporting playwrights at all stages of their careers. Under his leadership, APN’s membership and revenues have doubled, reflecting his strong advocacy and strategic vision.

Trevor has worked on the development of more than 500 new plays and has supported countless writers across Canada. He spent over 20 years as a writer and artistic associate with Shadow Productions and served for a decade as the writer and producer of Calgary’s annual Betty Mitchell Awards.

He also teaches playwriting and dramatic structure, helping students and professionals understand the fundamentals of dialogue, character, plot, crisis, and narrative flow, skills that translate directly into effective communication in any field.
