On-Scene Supervisor Training

The On-Scene Supervisor course is designed to ensure that the first on-scene responders are trained to coordinate all tactical activities of control, containment, and site safety.
The course involves both classroom and tactical training to provide an opportunity for participants to apply their knowledge in hand-on scenarios.
Public Protection Training
4 hours
The Public Protection training is a suite of courses designed to ensure field personnel are trained to enact public protection measure. The courses include Notification Group training, Rovers and Roadblock training, and Reception Centre training.
Courses involve classroom and tactical experience and prepare staff with the knowledge and coordination needed to effectively respond to an emergency impacting the pubic.
Crisis Communications: Fundamentals
1 hour
Crisis Communications: Fundamentals is aimed at any person within the organization who would like to understand core crisis communication theories and principles.
This is ideal for any personnel who have a role with some responsibility for communications (i.e., members of the leadership team, communications team members, and subject matter experts). Fundamentals is delivered online and can be taken at any time.

Crisis Communications: Fundamentals is aimed at any person within the organization who would like to understand core crisis communication theories and principles.

Virtual Incident Command Post / Virtual Emergency Operations Centre Training
2 Hours
The Virtual Incident Command Post (VICP) or Virtual Emergency Operations Centre (VEOC) training prepares staff to use a virtual ICP or EOC through Microsoft Teams.
The training includes information on training on how to use available tools, communicate with other members in the ICP, and maintain communication between an ICP and EOC. This course can be customized for your VICP/VEOC.
After-Action Review Training
4 hours
Identifying and implementing lessons learned from after an incident is a vital part of an organization’s commitment to continuous improvement. This course expands upon information provided in the Advanced EOC Operations and Role-Specific Training and provides participants with the necessary skills and knowledge required to conduct and After-Action Review (AAR).
This course is designed for those who lead the response (i.e., EOC Manager/Director and Incident Commander).
Critical Incident Stress Management Training
4 Hours
The Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) course is designed to provide guidance on identifying and providing support to personnel during and after an incident.
The identification of the signs of stress, minimizing stress and the immediate actions to be taken are covered in this course.
