Jason Hunt is a career firefighter with over 34 years of front-line experience, currently serving with the Calgary Fire Department. Over the course of his career, he has played key roles in fire and emergency services, training, and operational leadership. He served with Canada Task Force 2, a specialized regional response team, where he was deployed to support large-scale evacuations and participated in full-scale emergency management exercises to enhance response readiness.

With over 13 years of experience in Fire and Life Safety training, Jason specializes in multi-hazard evacuation planning, commercial building code compliance, and preparedness instruction for supervisory staff and building operators. His programs help organizations move beyond compliance to build true operational confidence.

An experienced Safety Codes Officer and National Construction Safety Officer, Jason offers deep knowledge of building regulations, emergency procedures, and risk mitigation. He is also a certified ICS/IMS instructor, having delivered training to both public and private sector teams to support incident coordination and command readiness.
